Many folks who have traveled with us to Croatia on one of our"Cultural Immersion Tours," will remember MARIN TUHTAN, the spectacular tenor who sings for us in Crni Lug and throughout the Kvarner area. Not only does he play traditional Croatian music on his accordion, but he is also a respected tenor at Rijeka's National Theatre. We think you will agree that his arrangements and renditions of operatic favorites are made ever more beautiful on this Cd. Although he uses traditional symphonic accompaniment, Marin also utilizes more of a pop/upbeat background as well. He and his wife, Goranka, also an opera singer, blend their voices and talents on this highly entertaining Cd! They reside in Delnice, near Rijeka, in Gorski Kotar. 

The passion and expressiveness of Marin's and Goranka's voices ring true in this well-produced Cd that brings opera into the 21st Century without compromising anything at all in the process.
