Marija Volf Puž, a gifted language specialist, has her degree as a professor of languages. She resides near the seaport city of Rijeka. A native of Croatia, Marija uses her extensive language skills on a daily basis as a certified (and very popular!) Croatian tour guide. Her engaging wit and her knowledge of language combine to make her an especially qualified and FUN instructor!

Marija has planned a course that will begin the week of January 7th and finish by the end of March.^.

During this time, students will spend time twice a week with Marija in face-to-face, INDIVIDUAL, ONE-ON-ONE time online. Each session is scheduled to last 60 minutes. 

There is no need to purchase anything extra, as Marija will offer free instructional downloads and online tools!

 Although instruction in Croatian grammar is a necessary component and as such will be incorporated within this personalized course of instruction, the real emphasis will be on CONVERSATION as students speak one-on-one with Marija, and occasionally with other students.

From the comfort of your own home, it is now possible to learn the skills necessary to carry on an easy conversation in Croatian language! Schedule your class times when it is convenient for you, sit back with a notebook and pencil, turn on your computer, and voila! You are now a student in a Croatian language program…

Cost: $325 for 15 classes, 60 minutes in length. For just a little over $20 a class, you can learn necessary skills in Croatian language from the comfort of your own home…

 EST: Mondays- Fridays: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 CST: Mondays-Fridays: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

 MST: Mondays-Fridays: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

 PST: Mondays-Fridays: 7 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. and Sundays to Thursdays 9 p.m.- 11 p.m.

 What can I expect? (Beginners)

This is a beginner's course intended for those who have little or no knowledge of the Croatian language. After completing 15 lessons, you will be able to:

***introduce yourself , your friends and family members

• ***tell something about yourself: where you come from, what your occupation is, what your interests and hobbies are...
• ***describe your home
• ***ask for directions and find your way to a destination
• ***inform yourself about transportation, ask how and where to buy tickets and choose the best option: bus, train, car, rent-a-car, etc.
• ***order food and drinks in a cafe, snack-bar or a restaurant
• ***buy groceries in a shop or in the market place; buy clothes
• ***book a room in a hotel, ask for reservations...
