A wonderful selection of beautiful Christmas hymns and carols, recorded by one of Croatia's finest folklore ensembles: ZAGREB MARKOVAC! (This CD is only slightly different than 2004's, but it is newly mixed.) For more than 50 years, the folk dance ensemble "Zagreb Markovac" has been successfully preserving traditional customs and nourishing authentic Croatian folklore. "Zagreb Markovac" won the Grand Prix at the International Folklore Festival in Poland in 1996 and its new CD was nominated for the Croatian "Grammy," or PORIN Award! Its directors are Gordan Vrankovecki and Ronald Sudic. Vocal Director is Mirjana Crnko and Orchestra Director is Zoran Jakunic. Heart of Croatia Gifts is honored to present these 2 CD's by one of the finest folklore ensembles in Croatia.
