This Croatian village interpretation is a vividly-colored water-colour serigraphy by acclaimed Croatian artist, Josip Generalic. Josip Generalic, who died in 2004, is the son of the Master of Naïve Art in Croatia, Ivan Generalic. This graphic is first hand-printed on a paper using a large press and a copper-plate in black and white, a medieval technique that was first developed by Albrecht Durer during the 15th century. The artist then applies water colours to paint these exquisite, one-of-a-kind, original works of art. "Bozicni borovi" ("Christmas Trees") is a perfect piece of art for those who enjoy the Christmas traditions, and for those who enjoy Croatian art. It measures 15.75in. x 10.75in.
